I started in consulting, founded a small creative company, and ran retail systems before I understood that what I actually liked was the moment before a product exists, when nobody can agree on what it should be.

At Verizon Digital Media Services I led product for the EdgeCast content delivery network, which powered OTT for Disney ABC, ESPN and Viacom. I designed a video quality-of-experience beaconing product that shipped across 5.6 million FiOS Mobile clients and became one of the company’s top ten new products, and I sat on the acquisition teams for EdgeCast and UpLynk. The drone work came out of the same period: a run of patents on how autonomous aircraft pick networks, hand off between them, and plan flight paths against weather, traffic and regulation.

Then Canary Connect, launching subscriptions and ecommerce across 108 countries. Then VidScale, where I was the founding product manager building a global ultra-low-latency edge compute platform, and where I learned what it takes to get a startup to an acquisition. Ericsson bought us.

At Adorama since 2019 I’ve been the CIO and CTO. We replaced a fifteen-year-old .NET monolith with microservices on Google Cloud, built the Adorama One technology team from nothing across New York, Ukraine and Poland, and took self-service reporting from 48 hours down to 15 minutes so people could stop waiting to find out what happened. That platform work is done.

What I spend my time on now is agentic shopping. Product discovery is moving inside assistants, Gemini, Perplexity and whatever comes next, and being present in a model’s answer is not the same skill as ranking in a list. It is closer to being legible: structured, current, and specific enough that a machine can quote you correctly. Most retailers have not noticed yet.

Theonix is the thing all of it was practice for. My co-founder Shaheen Timmapuri is a practicing pediatric surgeon. We’re building an AI copilot for procedural mastery: smart glasses, computer vision, generative AI, and an objective competency score where there used to be a subjective impression. It went live in Rutgers Health classroom use in September 2026.
